Cowls!

Made to order cowls are now available in the shop!! Perfect for Fall and upcoming Winter! Yay for cold weather!! I even decided to attempt to draw me wearing a cowl from a photo I had ha! Needs work but I mean you get the idea yea? Anywho! I’m taking orders and knitting through the night! Tomorrow err today? I’m going to work on a new print I’m thinking mason jar with flowers and a deer or two? We’ll see!!

Oh and I decided to make prints of my flower drawing that is also available in the shop for only $5!

Playing with Paint!

So I thought I’d play around with paint tonight and thought I’d show what I’ve got done so far! Nothing amazing and a bit sloppy but I’m having fun so far!! We’ll see what it ends up looking like when it’s complete! ha!

 

I’m still getting ready for the big Crafty Wonderland, so much to and so little time!! I swear the days are going quick and thats not a good thing when you have a kajillion things to make! Yikes!! I’ve been updating my shop every so often but things have been selling quick so I’m trying to add more each day! Phew!

It’s getting spooooky over here! :)

Tonight we started decorating a little bit for Halloween and started in the living room! Theres still lots to do but I thought I’d share what we have done so far! The first photo has nothing to do with Halloween other then how cute are the dolls that I made Jereme of us for his birthday?! haha I’m going to make some of these bearded guys for my upcoming craft show in December!

 

This white chair was only $5!!! It was so dirty when I bought it but with a magic eraser we cleaned the hell outta it! Love it so much!!

The cutest pumpkin tea lights from the dollar tree!! I love them so much!

Bathroom Re-Do!

 

It’s that time again where I decide to Re-Do a room in the apartment! What better place then the bathroom?! I decided to do a black and white theme! Black and white theme living areas seem to be pretty hot right now and I can see why! It looks so comfy and relaxing! And since I already re-did the rest of the rooms the bathroom looked like my best bet to re-do  in black & white! So I went on Amazon.com and searched my brains out and came up with these items to purchase! I’m so excited!!

Right now its owl theme! Which is super cute but I thought its time for a new change! New season is a brewin’ time for new bathroom! Heres what I bought!

UMBRA Cross stitch art! Omg the coolest thing in the universe! It comes as a set of 40 plastic x’s and you create your own cross stitch design on the wall! YES! I bought it in black since the bathroom walls are white and I was worried the white would blend in too much!

UMBRA Tissue Box Cover!  Okay I bought this because A) its the cutest thing in the universe! and B) Why not?! And it was so cheap I just had to! It comes in a few colors but I went with the white to make it feel more modern and artsy I lurve it!

A Steal Street Black Skull!  I just love skulls and I think this is an everyday skull not a holiday skull if that makes sense… I’m excited I think it’ll look great in the bathroom!

UMBRA Shower Caddy in White!  I just like the design so much and it looks super functional! Plain and simple!

UMBRA Penguin Foam Soap Dispenser!  I was worried I wasn’t going to find a cute black soap dispenser and then I found this one thats both slick and so adorable I can’t handle it! It looks like a penguin and it’s a foam dispenser which I love because I swear the foam soap last longer!

Amazing Black and White Stripe Shower Curtain!  I just love it! Seriously love it! Simple and Perfect the End!

UMBRA Grassy Organizer!  So cute! I have the green one thats much bigger to dry our dishes but I thought this one would be great to hold tooth paste and what not! Not so much tooth brushes since we have the electric ones but it’ll be nice to store tooth paste and maybe floss?

Ashley G Progress Print!  I love this so much! It’s simple yet amazing! I cannot wait to get it in the mail! Plus its a bigger size which will look great on the wall! I have a black frame waiting for it!

 

Anywho! I thought I’d share my ideas and once I recieve everything in the mail I’ll take a BEFORE and AFTER shot to share! Yay!

Hey… Remember me?

haha! Ah… Its been a long time since I’ve last blogged! Yikes! Things have been a bit hectic to say the least! I’m working on moving EVERYTHING into the apartment which is cray cray haha I never knew how much stuff I have until now! GEEZ! Safe to say 80% of is craft supplies 10% clothes 10% shoes and accessories! 80 + 10 +10 =100% Just checking if I did the math right…! haha!

I’ve also been listing a few new hair accessories to the shop! Check it out if you get the chance! I’m working on a few new things as well so we’ll see what else arrives in the shop soon!  :)

Lets seee….. what else is new, not too much! I start back in school in September for my second quarter at AAU excitinggggg! Although I’m loving relaxing in the sunshine and sleeping and not doing much of anything I’m only slightly looking back to going back to school! Blah oh wells!

I’m heading to the apartment to hang up some new shelves we bought at Ikea so I’ll make sure to take some photos and post them in a bit! Things are shaping up!

New Goodies in the Works!

Tonight I finished some polka dot print flower hair clips and I thought Id share a photo since they turned out super cute! But I suppose anything thats polka dotted is cute? I’m just now getting down to business on crafting for the big Crafty Wonderland Spring Sale! Yikes! I have so much to do but it gets hard when Im doing school at the same time yikes! But I’m really excited I’m working on a lot of new merch so I can’t wait to see how people like them or not!

Tomorrow I’m going to take another sneak peek at the craft room it’s slowly getting there we now have all of the furniture in the room its just time to get all of the goods organized! Which will be the fun part and there will be a huge garage sale this summer! haha so much stuff! Eek!

In other news im going to be adding lots of new items to the Oh My Vintage! Shop soon I have lots of stuff piled up to list, and Im thinking of opening a store envy shop to have a mini online garage sale of some of my stuff (clothing, accessories, etc.) soon as well! Ill keep you posted!

Anywho the Spring Show is May 12th at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, OR from 11:00am-6:00pm if your in the area do stop by and say Hello!

The Cat!

This post is dedicated to my cat Kitty… well just because she’s cute, and I wish she would get along with my dog Molly but she kind of refuses to do so! Does anyone out there have any tips on getting a cat and a dog to get along? Its such a bummer!

So I’m not sure If I explained how we got Kitty. Jereme was living at an apartment with my one of my friends, and she kept waiting outside their apartment door and meowing and everything so we decided to give her some tuna, and well she came back to the door everyday and then we decided to take her in, and she escaped a couple of times but always came back, and well shes been with us since, she was so skinny when we got her and now shes healthy and perfect! Minus her bossiness with Molly things are good! Im thinking shes just being very protective about her surroundings and the apartment thats why she doesn’t want Molly around, but I’m not sure, she tried to attack Molly once before and I got in the middle quickly lol. But we did get her de-clawed so we’ll see how things go.

Any tips would be great!

Hope everyones doing good, we went over to the apartment and my parents emptied a bunch of shelves so we can start bringing in the new furniture so tomorrow I should have some photos to share! Yahoo!

I’m Back!

Yep! I’m back in action! After a long break I thought it’d be fun to start blogging again! So I’ll be switching around a few things through out the week for a fresh new start! Woohoo! So lets see I’ve been busy doing school for the past 8 weeks which is going good I’m learning a lot about Graphic Design and I’m excited to learn more! Although I just may be switching schools because my tuition is out of control expensive but we’ll see about that in the upcoming months! I’ve been crafting a lot as usual, and finally moving all of my stuff into the apartment wahoo! I’m first working on my new craft room so I thought I’d share some photos so far, beware its a scary before shot but i’m hoping to do another shot this week to share! I’ve been having fun shopping at Ikea looking for new storage and what not, I’m doing an all white theme with pops of bright yellow and black, I figured all of my supplies are bright as they are and I’d hate for everything to clash too much. Oh and did I mention I found a new love? Yep Polka dot felt!! bahaha no really Im obsessed Im afraid I might be turning into a felt snob since all I want to do is use this amazing felt rather then the store bought stuff. But I’m finding myself hoarding it and just wanted to look at it rather then cutting into it haha. Ah I’m crazy. Anyways. Heres some photos via Instagram. (username: ohmydeerlove)

Yep, I’ve been having fun with new craft ideas! I have so many ideas I just need to remember to write them down so I won’t forget haha!

The last photo is part of the ‘before’ shot of my new craft room, haha yes its scary, we’ve been organizing and going through my boxes of stuff to see what we can give to goodwill or to friends! So much stuff and sadly thats not even a TINY bit of my stuff good grief!

Heres some of the items I’ve bought for the room so far, I already have some white shelves but I needed to get a few more items so I picked these out so far!

Don’t you love that rug?! I’ve been on the hunt for a black and white chevron rug, but they are way expensive then I found this one online for $37 with free shipping and I said uh yes!! I went back to order another one but they were sold out! Phooey! But this may or may not go in the craft room it may go under the couch in the living room we shall see!
