Russian Dolls are Coming!

I’ve always wanted to make russian doll plushies! I use to make the silk screened plushies but I’ve retired those gals, and thought nows my chance to whip up an idea into shape! So without further ado here are the ladies!

 

Any thoughts? I sorta love the heck out of them! I need to make patterns so they all turn out the same but this was a fun accident they turned out like nesting dolls! I think i’ll sell this as a set, and make a few more sets then make some for single purchases! If that made any sense whoops! Okay Crafty Wonderland is in 25 days!!! So I better head back to work!

New Website!!

I’m excited to finally announce that we’ve moved over to Big Cartel!! No offense on Etsy but I’m kinda tired of paying so many fees, and giving them so much of my profits and the rating system was horrifying! So I’m hoping Big Cartel is awesome so far so good!! I love how you can actually DESIGN your shop and have it awesome and organized loves it!

Bouquets!

 

 

 

I’ve always wanted to make large felt flower bouquets and I finally took a stab at it! Although I’m going to first try and sell these guys individually but we’ll see how they go! These are my first 4 what do you think? They were super fun to make and I’m working on lots more! They take a while to make but I love the outcome! They will be available at the Crafty Wonderland Spring Show in May! So exciting!

In other news I’ve switched over to big cartel and bought a domain name (www.ohmydeerlove.com) I haven’t listed anything on it just yet since I’m getting ready for my big craft show, but I’m so excited to re-design the shop and offer lots of fun new things!

Craft Room Update!

So we’ve made some progress in the good ol’ craft room! Mind you this only happened because we realized everyone is coming over for Christmas dinner and if it is not clean that’s not okay! lol! Just don’t look in our storage room!!! haha It’s beyond repair in there for now!

Anywho I thought I’d share some photos! Still have to add all my supplies, and add a few more storage bins and cart then it should be done! Woohoo! I can’t wait to start creating in here!

New found love!

Jereme bought me a cricut machine for Christmas! And boy am I in love!!! The only downside is how much the cartridges cost but it pays off at the end since you get a bajillion images on just one cartridge! Although one tip buy them when there on Sale because you cannot use coupons on them! Boo!

Here she is!Aint she a beaut? And she’s pink which is well…. is always a plus! ha! I was surprised at how easy it is to use and how many things I can make with her! Woohoo!

Heres proof that I’ve been using her! hahaha nice mess!! Whoops!

 

Today I made a new years resolution tag! Instead of just writing it down or doing a blog post I could have the tag pinned on my bullentin board so it can remind me to get ‘em done! Heres some photos of it! Not to bad for  my first time ‘scrapping’

Work.In.Progress.

So I’m working on the deer print, I think I have the laurel the way I wanted, I used the laurel I did in the mason jar print but added antlers and some new flowers and shrooms of course! The deer is getting there all thought I messed up on his coloring! I’m working on him tonight so hopefully it’ll be done by today to share!

New Print!

So I decided to try and make a series of prints of my favorite things! First up the ol’ mighty blue mason jar!! haha! Seriously something about blue mason jars just make me so happy! Usually there so darn spendy but I found a ton of them at Good Will for 99 cents each and bought all 10! I’m a blue mason jar hoarder and i’m proud to be one! Ha! Anywho! I’m going to do some more probably 4 more? I’m thinking vintage deers, coffee, cameras, and one more? We’ll see!! I hope you guys like! I’d love to hear your input! I’ll try to put these guys in the shop super soon! They’ll be the usual $5!
